The project aimed to create a temporary pavilion seamlessly integrating art exhibitions and performative spaces. Our concept emerged from a detailed analysis of the villa's courtyard system and its dynamic relationship with the surrounding landscape. The proposed solution involves a wooden temporary pavilion nestled in a unique courtyard surrounded by trees, fostering a dialogue that balances the ethereal with the grandeur of Villa Imperiale in Pesaro. The project embraces the notion that the villa and its surrounding vegetation exist in unison, mutually intertwined. This synergy is evident as the vegetation gracefully climbs the exterior walls, embracing the villa with its intertwining branches. The view of the tower, overlooking the entire complex, adds to the immersive experience, drawing attention to an arched passage on the left that extends one's gaze into an external space. The symbiotic relationship between the villa, the lush greenery, and the valley is further emphasized by the continuous interplay of botanical representations adorning the internal frescoes. These depictions, interspersed with stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape, create a seamless integration of nature within the villa's walls. This project aspires to be a testament to this harmonious coexistence, weaving together history, nature, and contemporary artistry within the enchanting confines of Villa Imperiale in Pesaro.
