A new community where pilgrims can find, after a long journey, the comfort of a hot meal and the warmth of a bed, immersed in the enchanting rural landscape of Val di Lago. The pilgrimage center is configured as a small village that grows around three key elements: the chapel, the religious place of excellence, the outdoor theater, a place to meet and socialize, and finally the places of rest, the accommodation. Through its shapes and its geometry respects and enhances the monumentality of the ruin, accentuating the existing architectural qualities and trying, leaning on the crest of the perimeter wall, to sacrifice the least amount of material possible
